Ways to Make a Difference
Ways to Give or Volunteer
Donations of food, money, clothing, furniture, and miscellaneous thrift store items, travel-sized soaps, shampoos, deodorant, tooth paste, toothbrushes, combs, used candles, and 5-6 ounce cans (such as tuna or cat food cans) and lighters are always needed.
You may also make a monetary donation using the Paypal link to the right. Another option for many is you may purchase an item using the Amazon Wish List link to the
right.

This location is not monitored, and items left there cannot be guaranteed to remain secure. Unfortunately, unattended donations may be lost or taken.
To arrange a safe drop-off location or delivery time, please contact us in advance.

Volunteering to Help at Central Avenue Center of Hope is always welcome. Please contact the Site Director Jonathan Armstrong at 913-233-2511 during regular business hours of 730 am to 12 pm to ask about volunteering.
